The Fool's journey through the Major Arcana begins with the Magician, where you enter a world of possibilities, where anything is possible, and dreams can come true. This is where The Fool's sparks of creative inspiration are brought to form with fierce action, self-discipline, planning, and perseverance.

The themes of The Fool often revolve around innocence, naivety, and impulsivity. From my intuitive readings, however, I've noticed this card appears when someone stands on the edge of a new journey with trepidation. It's a choice between staying where they are, feeling unhappy or stuck, and venturing into the unknown.

I grew up listening to true ghost stories around the campfire with my grandma. Before she passed away, she wrote two of them down. This is one of them and was my first introduction to Spirit world.

This month's collective forecast is about calling in the life we want, getting unstuck in the one we have, and releasing the critical voices that may be holding us back.

July brings themes of releasing addictive thoughts and behaviours, leaning into trust, recognizing our worth, and considering where we can release our grasp just a little to allow ourselves more space. None of this promises to be easy, but it will be rewarding.

During my first mediumship practice session, I got it all wrong. My sitter couldn’t validate any of the information I provided. I can’t lie; it was disappointing. What I didn’t realize was that it was only just the beginning of a string of Spirit signs that would lead me to the answer to someone else’s decades-long mystery.

Remember crockpots in the 80s and how they fell out of popularity? But then in the 2000s hit and slow-cookers were all the rage? Or how pressure cookers were a foreign thing your mom talked about, and now everyone is in love with their instant pots? Rebranding, it's a powerful thing.

The amazing thing about crystals is that you can engage with them in a way that feels right for you and they are still beneficial. Yes, they are all attributed healing properties that can help us to feel supported on our journeys but simply being surrounded by their beauty can lift your spirits, raise your vibration, and put you in a better mood.

Power animals show up in our lives with messages. You may start to see more of a particular animal or have a unique encounter with one - like the playful squirrel who started showing up on my porch one day. You may also start seeing the animal on everything from mugs in your cupboard to sweaters on your friends (who happen to be carrying a mug with the animal on it!)

When my inner child is triggered my guide comes and sits with me, he is with me even when no one else knows something is wrong, and he will always be with me.

Before you read this story, you must know that I have never seen the Wizard of Oz. I know, this may be unforgivable and I won’t blame any of you if you stop reading now. But I hope this knowledge illustrates how wild it is that symbolism from this classic movie has pulled me along on my own journey.
